Producing a graphic novel is both expensive and labor intensive--particularly a book with multiple stories and different creative teams.
While this is a passion project, we think it's important to pay everyone fairly for their hard work. That includes the original authors, the writers adapting the stories into scripts, the pencillers, inkers, colorists, letterers, and of course, our printing and marketing costs.
